Frequently Asked Questions
How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?
When the laser light passes through the skin, the laser light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle. The energy is then converted into heat. The hair follicle is then destroyed by the heat without damaging the surrounding tissue. What Skin Tones Can Be Treated?
Our advanced laser machine has 3 settings in one to allow us to treat light and dark skin types alike. The lighter your hair the more sessions that may be required to achieve optimal results. How Many Treatments Do I Need?
The number of treatments required for long-term benefits varies on the area being treated, along with your hair density, depth of color and the hair's natural growth cycle. Age, diet, medications, and hormones can also be important factors in how the laser works on hair.
There are three phases of hair growth — Anagen (active), Catagen (regression) and Telogen (resting). Lasers are designed to treat hair in the first phase, the Anagen phase of growth.
Each client is unique however, it is recommended that you do an average of 6-8 treatments spaced every 3-4 weeks apart. What Preparations are Necessary For Laser Hair Removal?

This is normal. Hair will begin to fall out 10-14 days after the treatment.- You must avoid direct sun exposure for 7 days after your last treatment.
